In April 2018, The Houston Minority Supplier Development Council (HMSDC) certified The Perfect Freight Source, LLC as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE). The company seeks business opportunities with organizations that have supplier diversity programs. President Yasin Shahid says “We want to be recognized in the industry as a leading MBE third party logistics company that delivers efficient, cost-effective service, and has the capabilities to outperform any other provider.” The HMSDC is a 501 (c)3 non profit organization that connects its MBE's and their corporate members in creating business opportunities and mutual value. With The Perfect Freight Source having a local presence in the Houston area, it could potentially expand its services in the energy market because of the relationship HMSDC has with its corporate members.
