Last year a devastating and tragic event struck south Texas. Houston and its surrounded cities were impacted by Hurricane Harvey and thousands of victims were displaced. Promulgate, along with community leaders, without hesitation stepped up immediately helping those in need. The organization used its platform and raised $1,000 to purchase tools and safety equipment for its volunteers in order to help families that needed sheet rock, carpet, tile, and destroyed furniture removed from their homes. In addition to this clean up event, Promulgate also employed a homeless individual to assist in the cleanup efforts. The remaining raised funds were gifted to a family who was impacted by the storm.
