Yasin Shahid is a natural born leader and humanitarian, always seeking innovative solutions around all aspects of business and technology. Born and raised in Houston, Texas he comes from a very successful family of engineers and researchers with scientific backgrounds. He attended Texas Southern University and pursued a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electronic and Engineering. Along his career path he worked as a forklift operator, QC, and a leadman for companies; Schepps Dairy owned by Dean Foods, Dreyers Grand Ice Cream, National Oilwell Varco, and Exel Logistics a supply chain division of DHL in the light industrial and oil and gas industry for over 10 years. In 2013, Mr. Shahid had an interesting conversation with a truck driver where he sparked his interest in becoming a freight broker. From there he took the initiative to learn about transportation, logistics and supply chain management and signed his first contract with a small broker firm located in Apache Junction,Arizona. “When I was a freight broker agent, there were certain limitations causing my business not flourished and not being able to deliver the promises to my customers as they expected. I knew I was the perfect guy! I had the perfect answers! This led Mr. Shahid creating his owned Broker Company, naming it The Perfect Freight Source.
